SHANTI who touched various music since childhood, when he was an elementary school student, he sang a hymn with a choir and experienced a musical. After returning to the Berklee College Summer School in 1997, he started singing lyrics, narration, and live activities of CM.
The songwriting sense and singing ability attracted many artists, and the famous musicians such as Kuwata Keisuke, Sadistic Mika band, CHAR, Kobayashi Katsura, TOKU, Marine, TAKE 6, Konuma Asuke, Watanabe Kosumi, Sato Takeyoshi, Komatsu Ryota I have collaborated in various forms. There were also many exchanges with overseas musicians, deepening friendship with the fantastic players such as Peter Erskine, late deceased Joe Sample who was missing regrettably the other day. Following "Share My Air" which was produced in France in 2008, in June 2010 Columbia major debut with "Born To Sing". As the delivery album got the first place in iTunes' jazz chart, the name of "SHANTI" and its unusual organic voice are quickly known all over Japan from immediately after release. The following album "Romance with Me" was released in January, and the track "Love matters" included in WEB CM of marriage information magazine "Zexy". In the same year I went through the first cover album "Sunny and Blue" in the same year, I did the first European tour (Germany, Portugal, Spain, France) this summer and on the last day I appeared at JAPAN EXPO 2011 in Paris It was a great success.
